Shipping Policy:
We ship each business day via UPS and USPS. If we receive your order by 3 pm EST in most cases we will ship your order on that same business day. Orders received after 3pm EST each day or during the weekend will be shipped the following business day.
On orders shipped within the contiguous US, we offer USPS and UPS Ground. If you need expedited shipping we also offer UPS 2nd Day Air and 3 Day Select through the shopping cart. Call us for a quote if you require UPS Next Day Air.
We do our best to keep the shipping charges in the shopping cart as low and accurate as possible but in certain circumstances (i.e. orders that require an oversized shipping container), the shipping price quoted on the website might need to be amended. In which case, someone from the Big Black Bear Shop will either call or email you to resolve the discrepancy.
Transit time:
The Big Black Bear Shop is located in the beautiful Green Mountain State of Vermont. Transit time to the East Coast is 1 – 2 business days, to the Mid-west is 3 – 4 days and to the West Coast is 5 – 6 days.
International:
We gladly accept Visa and Master Card for orders outside the US. If you experience difficulty using our on-line store please call or email The Big Black Bear Shop directly. The shipping charges on your confirmation order may not be accurate due to our not being able to calculate international shipping at the time of order. Upon receipt of your order we will contact you with a shipping quote via phone or email.

Return Policy:
We accept returns for any reason within 14 days of the receipt of your order. Simply call or send us and email to tell us your order is being returned. Include a copy of your receipt with the item being returned. Shipping charges are non-refundable on returned items, except in the case of defective product.
